FAQ’s

Are ADD's services free?

Our aim is to provide our services for free at the point of contact, and we will fundraise and work with industry partners to ensure they are available to those who need them the most.

Are the Team members listed on the website all active participants and available to work with clients?

The team members all participate in ADD’s mentorship programme, but this will always be based on availability and suitability for a mentee’s specific needs. We also have a large pool of incredible mentors who all have equally impressive careers in the music and creative industries, and care just as much about ADD’s mission and goals.

Can potential clients select specific Team members with whom they wish to work?

Once a potential mentee contacts ADD we will carry out an informal assessment to identify your needs. We will then use this assessment to evaluate the most suitable mentor on a case by case basis. You can of course notify us if you want to work with a particular mentor, but this will depend on suitability and availability.

Depending on the breadth of a mentee’s needs you may even get to meet with more than one of our mentors if different specialisms are required.

Do clients choose what type of support to receive?

We will work with you to tailor a bespoke package that most meets your personal needs, this may be a combination of support, such as one session of legal support and two of life coaching, in order to deal with a specific issue at a place of work.

How will consultations take place, ie. in-person, Zoom, telephone?

Our services will primarily be provided online, but individual mentors may prefer to meet in person.

Is there a waiting list for appointments?

Currently we have no waiting list. We will primarily work on a first come first served basis however needs and urgency will be assessed during the assessment process.

Are discussions completely confidential?

Yes your conversations will be completely confidential between you and your mentor. If you are working with more than one ADD mentor, then with your permission, it may sometimes be useful for them to be aligned on your progress.

Will there be any networking opportunities/events?

We absolutely aim to hold events in the future. Watch this space.

May I send demos / proposals / contracts / treatments for the team to review?

Please do not send unsolicited material as this will not be reviewed, however you can of course speak to your mentor about suitable places to send or share your creative material.
